Back to Basics Winter Workshops: Family Camping

Interpretive

Camping is a fantastic and affordable way for families to vacation, but planning a family camping trip can also be very intimidating. In this classroom presentation we will cover the basics of front country (car) camping and hopefully give parents the confidence they need to hit the road with their little ones. Topics will include: equipment, meals and cooking, entertainment and activities, logistics, safety, and suggested nearby parks and campgrounds.
There will also be plenty of time to answer questions from the audience.

Staff from Gear Coop in Costa Mesa will be onsite as well to answer questions and demo gear.

All ages are welcome, but this lecture style program will be geared toward parents.

Minors aged 16 and younger must have legal guardian present at all times.
Walk-ins are welcome, however seating is limited, so registration is suggested.
