South Coastal Operations would like to increase presence at Salt Creek Beach and Dana Strands Beach to assist in protecting our beautiful Marine Protected Area.
Salt Creek Beach and Dana Strands Beach have some of the best natural sceneries out of all OC Parks facilities. If you do not have area specific training for South Coastal, have no fear! Park Ranger Kyle Frazer will train you during your first patrol session.
You will be trained on how to operate the South Coastal Operations 4×4 Honda Pioneer that you will be able to utilize to patrol the access roads and sand (or you can utilize foot patrols). You will also receive general facility information to answer common questions from our visitors.
This activity is currently limited to two reserves per patrol. After signing up, please reach out to Park Ranger Kyle Frazer to coordinate staging and EDC recommendations for your patrol.
