OC Parks’ regional park fishing derbies have grown significantly in popularity and we need volunteer’s to help to prepare our 250 loaner fishing rods for the upcoming derby on September 16th. The rods are provided at no cost to derby participants who don’t have their own equipment and help make sure that these events are accessible to all.
Tasks include: identifying and tagging broken poles and reels, stringing fresh line on reels which need it, and tying on hooks and weights to each line.
