There’s more to the beach than lying out in the sun and playing in the waves on a hot summer day! Join OC Parks staff and volunteers for a casual walk along the sand at Salt Creek Beach Park to learn about the different flora and fauna that live along southern California beaches. The beach is a dynamic habitat, so no two walks are the same! This program will also include a discussion on marine pollution and a brief beach clean-up.
Program content is geared for ages 8 and up. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water and sun protection.
The program is free, and a parking voucher will be provided.
Advance registration required. Rain or adverse weather may cancel the program.
Registration is closed for this activity.
