Creatives are invited to paint, sketch, or draw at this beautiful historic location. Our professional artist, Dawn Buckingham, will provide instruction and tips about capturing the buildings and gardens on this property in your art. There is a main house, many outbuildings, decorative pool and lush gardens. If we are lucky, the small creek may still be running. You will learn simple perspective for outdoor (plein air) artists to help you to find success, no matter your level. There are also many other exciting subjects for you to paint at this beautiful site.
Upon registration, a recommended list of materials is available for you to bring to this free program. No materials are provided, only art instruction. A tour of the house and background of Helena Modjeska is highlighted.
