Join us for a rejuvenating Sunday hike through the scenic trails of O’Neill Regional Park. This interpretive hike offers a moderate challenge with rewarding panoramic views of Orange County, the Santa Ana Mountains, and surrounding areas. We’ll explore a variety of trails, including Live Oak Trail, Vista Trail, Hoffman Homestead Trail, and Coyote Trail, culminating at the Vista Trail’s peak elevation of 1,492 feet. From this vantage point, we’ll enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views stretching as far as Catalina Island and Palos Verdes on clear days.
This hike combines physical activity with opportunities for nature connection. We will incorporate a short activity, encouraging participants to observe the landscape, listen to the sounds of nature, and immerse themselves in the present moment.
