Join us at Irvine Regional Park for the Habitat Adventure Trail restoration! We will be restoring the garden by removing invasive species, cleaning up excess debris, trimming large shrubs, and preparing the area for new plantings of native species.
This is a Level 2 difficulty rating for Habitat Restoration. The Habitat Trail is located directly next to a parking lot, with restrooms and amenities close by. Be prepared for light work with hand tools (shovels, rakes, hoes, and loppers) on and off trail. General purpose gardening gloves and long pants are recommended. Tools, gloves, and snake gaiters are available on site, however, volunteers are welcome to bring their own preferred non-motorized items for use.
The program and parking are free for volunteers. Please let the parking attendant know you are volunteering. Don’t forget to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and snacks.
This project will begin at the Habitat Adventure Trailhead at Parking Lot G.
