Join us for a refreshing summer morning hike through the scenic, shaded trails of O’Neill Regional Park. This interpretive hike provides a moderate challenge, showcasing the park’s beautiful oak woodlands, riparian areas, and rolling hills. Along the Way, we’ll explore topics like local history, plant and tree identification, and wildlife ecology, with opportunities to pause, observe, and connect with nature. This summer hike is designed to beat the heat by starting early and ending before mid-morning, while still allowing time to enjoy the sights, sounds, and serenity of the wilderness area.

Location: O’Neill Regional Park (Meet in front of the Nature Center)
Parking: Available in the paved lot near the Nature Center.
Admission: A $5 vehicle entry fee applies for those without a camping reservation. The event itself is free.
